| WAT LUANG PHO KHAO (วัดหลวงพ่อขาว) |

| Wat Luang Pho Khao or the Monastery of the White Buddha was located off the city island in the eastern area of Ayutthaya in Khlong Suan Phlu sub-district. The monastery was situated south of the present Saisun Rachakan Street leading to the Asian Highway and the Provincial Office. In its immediate vicinity no other temples or ruins as reference point were found. There are no traces anymore visible of the monastery above ground level. Historical data about the monastery and its construction are unknown. The site is only indicated on a 2007 Fine Arts Department map. Some remains of the temple were excavated by the Fine Arts Department (FAD) in Geo Coord: +14° 20' 9.69" N, +100° 36' 7.08" E. |
