WAT CHEDI SAM ONG

Wat Chedi Sam Ong, or the Monastery of the Three Chedis, was located off the city island in the southeastern area of Ayutthaya, in Phai Ling Sub-district. The temple was situated south of Wat Maklam, west of Wat Khian and east of Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon. Wat Wihan Satru stood north.

It could be accessed in ancient times through a canal system connected to Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon and other nearby temples.

The site is covered in vegetation and difficult to access as a moat surrounds it. This location could not yet be visited, but apparently, there is a large mound in situ.

Historical data about the monastery and its construction are unknown.

The site is approximately in geographical coordinates: 14° 20' 48.14" N, 100° 35' 47.48" E.
